Canary Islands: Tomato exports down 21%
106,839 tonnes of tomatoes were exported from the Canary Islands between January and June 2008, 21% less than the volume recorded for the same period of 2007, according to the Spanish Federation of Fruit and Vegetable Producers/Exporters (FEPEX).
