Tomato Sauce

Preparation

Heat the oil in a wide frying pan over a medium heat; add the onion and cook, stirring often, until softened, for about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, wine, oregano and basil. Bring to a simmer; then simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt.
