FL08: TasteXperience life show, a clear success

The Dutch master chef Angélique Schmeinck has experimented with F&V flavours and aromas at S&G stand

Visitors have found new S&G pepper varieties in the main pepper types required in the EAME region, including a new small blocky variety for winter production created to meet the needs of the British market, and a consistently sweet Sivri type. As for tomatoes, they come in different shapes and sizes: small, round, oval, on the vine, etc. All of them are well adapted to different growing conditions and they have one important common denominator: flavour. With respect to melons, the S&G range of Galia, Charentais and Piel de sapo melons has been shown at the stand, as well as courgettes, cauliflowers in different colours and the BellaGio lettuce, which is ready to eat with just one cut above the base.

The show at S&G stand was hosted by the Dutch master chef, Angélique Schmeinck, who prepared a number of new and imaginative dishes that are getting the very most out of fresh fruits and vegetables: clear tomato juice, tomatoes with lamb steaks and shrimps with a pink pepper sauce. She will also be attending the Tomato Conference 2008, organized by Syngenta next May in The Netherlands, where visitors would also appreciate the seducing flavours of fruits and vegetables.

Once again and in its fifteenth edition, Fruit Logistica opened his doors yesterday in Berlin. Under the slogan “The enjoyable TasteXperience”, S&G invited all its customers, friends and visitors to come to its stand (Hall 21 / C-03) to learn about the company’s latest developments and newest products, as well as to enjoy the TasteXperience live show. Many people experimented with flavours and aromas at S&G stand, enjoying the taste of many special F&V recipes.
